97-12 Yamaha Banshee DRL-300 wiring harnessTank mount setup(for 3GG-10 CDI)This tank mount harness is setup to work with your DRL-300 rev limiter. This does not incude the stator extension wire. It is intended to be used when your CDI is within reach of your stator.
Hook up
Hookup:At the CDI end of the harness you have 2 red wires and 1 blue. Connect either red to your battery positive. The other red will go to your DRL-red wire. The remaining blue wire will go to your DRL blue wire.The heat shrink has not yet been shrunk to allow you to trim your wires to fit. After you trim them, you can trim your heatshrink to fit and then shrink. Connectors have been included for you to make the entire system plug and play in the event you need to remove and re install it later. The white wire from your DRL needs to be spliced to the your white-green at the stator. The last black wore from your DRL will go to battery negative.At the Lever:The 2 red wires can be trimmed to length and then heat shrunk with the included heatshrink and terminated with included terminals. It doesnt matter how they are connected to the perch. It is just an open/closed circuit.
