If you select Harness only option, the battery and regulator wiring will be left raw for you to wire in your own components. 
If you select complete kit you will get the pictured battery and regulator with plug and play hookup.
 
This is a 2002 only Yamaha blaster wiring harness.
 
Please take a very good look at the video and pictures below.
 
Compare your connectors to each and every one on the harness. Of course a stock harness will not have battery or voltage regulator connectors as this is a custom DC harness.
 
You will need to pay close attention to your light switch, CDI, and the stator connectors to be sure that they are a perfect match.
